The Workshare Scheme is part of the Government's policy of in respect of work/life balance initiatives. Full details of the scheme can be found in DES
Circular Letter 37/2006
Applications 2021
Staff who wish to participate in the scheme must complete the
application form
which should be approved by the Principal/Head of Centre/ Head of Department and must
clearly
outline the reason for requesting to participate in the Work Sharing Scheme.
All applications will be assessed on a case by case basis
Applications to participate in the scheme will be considered in the context of the overall organisational needs of CDETB but all reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate staff who request work sharing. It is important to note, however, that existing arrangements under other work sharing arrangements (i.e. job-sharing) do not create an automatic precedence for dealing with applications under this scheme.
Application Forms, approved by the Principal/Head of Centre/Head of Department must be forwarded to Linda Roche in the Human Resources Department no later than:
Monday 16th November 2020
