Travel & Subsistence Claims - Year End Memo


Claims by Academic Staff

The City of Dublin ETB Travel and Subsistence Handbook for Academic Staff is available in your centre.  Please note that if you are a member of the academic staff, that expenses will only be paid to you when you are in compliance with the procedures described in this handbook.

 

Claims by Other Members of Staff

If you are engaged on City of Dublin ETB business you may be entitled to claim for travel and subsistence. Any travel and/or subsistence for which an allowance is being paid for by City of Dublin ETB must be approved in advance. Copies of the current Travel and Subsistence rates are available from the Finance Department and are shown on the reverse side of the claim form.
 
 

Use of Personal Transport on City of Dublin ETB Business – All Staff

Employees must ensure that they have current insurance cover indemnifying the City of Dublin ETB against third party claims arising out of the use of personal transport on official City of Dublin ETB business.

Travel Pass Scheme April 2023

Please see below for your information the ‘April 2023 Taxsaver Pay Mandate & Application’ form along with the ‘Terms & Conditions’ document for the above scheme.

 

Please Note: Staff who are on the October 2022 Taxsaver scheme need not apply now.

The closing date for return of applications is Monday  13th March - late applications will not be accepted

Take note that the Taxsaver scheme is available for annual tickets only.

Cycle to Work Scheme 2023
 

Please note that the 2023 Cycle to Work scheme will be closing on:

 

Tuesday  31st October 2023

 

This is the latest date for applications for this year’s scheme and applications cannot be accepted after this date.

 

The 2024 Cycle to Work scheme will re-open for applications in January 2024. Forms for the 2024 scheme will be available in January – please do not forward applications for 2024 for payment until the new forms have been issued.

 

Any eligible applications for the 2023 Cycle to Work scheme accepted from now until the closing date will have the full cost of the bike purchase deducted in one instalment from their November salary (fortnightly or monthly paycycle), less tax relief awarded at sources through the payroll.
